Are you looking to meet like-minded people who share your passion for Francophone culture?
At Cōzette, we have created a French-speaking community by providing students with opportunities to practice French outside of the classroom. Whether held in our beautiful studio, at venues in the Twin Cities area, or online, our goal is for students to use their French skills in laid-back social settings.
From wine and cheese tastings to the art of crêpe making for a festive Chandeleur, our events are sure to delight. In addition, online and in-person workshops dive deeper into grammatical features and explore Francophone cultural topics. Our casual apéros are also the perfect excuse to connect in French after a busy work week.

Ease back into French this fall with Maïwenn! If you’ve completed Level 3, this three-week conversation class is for you. Through fun games, guided discussions, and speaking activities, you’ll refresh your French, build confidence, and get back into the rhythm of speaking. Join Célie, this fall, for an interactive conversation class designed for intermediate learners. Practice real-life speaking situations, discuss current events and French culture, and build fluency through engaging, guided conversations. A great way to boost your confidence, expand your vocabulary, and enjoy speaking French in a supportive, welcoming space. *No class on 11/16 & 11/23
This fall, join Célie for a fun and interactive 90-minute conversation class (mixed with some grammar review) designed especially for intermediate learners. Practice real-life speaking situations, discuss current events, explore French culture, and chat about everyday topics — all in French!
Through engaging activities and guided discussions, you’ll build fluency, expand your vocabulary, and gain confidence in a supportive and welcoming environment. It’s the perfect way to keep your French active while connecting with others and enjoying meaningful conversation.
This conversation class will take place IN-PERSON at our school in Northeast Minneapolis, from 3:15pm to 4:45pm every Monday*.

If you’ve completed Level 3 and want to refresh your skills before moving on to Level 4, this class is for you. Through various activities and guided discussions, we’ll review key concepts like passé composé vs. imparfait and object pronouns (y, en, direct, indirect, and reflexive pronouns) while putting them into practice through conversation. This class is a great way to reconnect with French after the summer and build confidence speaking!
Our Level 3 Review class will take place online. It will run for 4 weeks, from September 8 to September 29, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
In this 4-week workshop, we’ll review key concepts from Level 3, and put them into practice through conversation. You’ll strengthen your understanding of passé composé vs. imparfait, revisit object pronouns (direct, indirect, reflexive, y and en), and build confidence using them in real-life situations. Through a mix of targeted review and interactive activities, you’ll feel more comfortable speaking and expressing yourself naturally in French.

Our 4-week Level 2 Review/Conversation class will take place on Wednesdays, 9:30AM to 11:00AM, in person, at our school in Northeast Minneapolis.
Did you take French in high school or college years ago? Or maybe you’ve just finished our Level 2 class and would like a refresher before moving on to Level 3? Either way, this class is for you!
We’ll review key concepts from Level 2, including how to ask and answer questions, verb conjugations in the present tense, French articles, negations, and more. You’ll also get plenty of opportunities to practice speaking through fun, interactive activities designed to help you feel more confident expressing yourself in French.
